I have to transfer the name selections (bodies and surfaces) from NX Unigraphics to ANSYS APDL without using ANSYS WORKBENCH and using only macros in APDL (no manually or graphically).
Could you help me please?
Thanks in advance

I think with student version, direct import of NX is not supported.
you may want to use research license from university which has cad integration.

I am working with research license.
Between NX and Workbench it works perfectly but with APDL I think there is no possibility to transfer the information to, which means that the user has to open again the geometry and add manually again the names for bodies, surfaces,...

Are you ok with transferring mesh with named selection (without geometry) from Workbench to APDL? If yes, connect APDL to Mechanical Model as shown:
Using this way you can use better meshing controls in Mechanical, and transfer mesh with Named selection to APDL.
Only downside of this is you can not get the geometry in APDL, but if you use Named selections for all the BCs, I don't think that should be an issue.

- How to work with STL file?
- drawing a geometry by importing a table of points
- Using Symmetry in DesignModeler and Expanding the Results
- section plane
- material properties
- Rotate tool in ANSYS Design Modeler
- ANSYS FLUENT – Operation would result in non manifold bodies
- Parameters not imported into Workbench 18.2 from Solidworks/Inventor
- Geometry scaling
