Subscriberhello
when I sumilated one model, I took the message "solver_out_of_memory".
Then,I had taken the only ten percent memory in CPU, in spite of taking about the eighty percent memory before.
I want to know how to solve this problem soon !
By the way , I checked my compute "DELL256v4" by asking DELL Co.,Ltd a solution.
I tried the memory check DELL Co.,Ltd showed , but it is no problem.
I also re-installed the Os,however it is no problem.
Therefore, cousing the problem is not the hardware and the Os.
I think that cousing the problem is maybe software "HFSS"
Please help me!

SubscriberHi masaki kamino,
May be you don't have enough RAM. Sometimes it estimates the required RAM when Building Matrix (I am not fully sure about this though). And if the RAM is not enough, it will throw the above error. You may want to paste your simulation log if you want a more detailed response.
Thanks,

SubscriberHi,
I wanted you to attach the solution profile. Steps below:
1. Right Click on solution setup (e.g. Setup1)
2. Click on "Profile..."
3. Click on "Export..." button on the bottom of the dialog box.
Attach the exported file to this thread so that I can look at it.
Thanks,
Aman

SubscriberThis is the same problem i have faced and i had to struggle alot.
The procedure ANSYS works is that before it tries to solve any matrix, it looks for the required space on the RAM, if the RAM is not sufficient enough to handle that matrix, it will not even start the simulation and will give you the error. I talked with the ANSYS customer support and when they and I debug the problem, we got the same reason. .

SubscriberI'm sorry for your inconvenience.
By the way , I solved the problem.
Cousing is that I simulated each model by the HFSS version 13 and version 19 in the same computer in the same time .
I use each version in difference computer ,as a result , my compute "DELL256v4" can have enough memories and simulation is completed.
Thank you for your cooperation .

SubscriberThank you for answering my question.
About your pointing out , I had about ninty percent RAM when the error occered.
