Output Variable Calculation Error in Transient 2D Analysis

      Hi folks, I have been getting errors in transient 2D analysis. I need to calculate the d-q inductances of an ipm machine by coordinate transformation technique. However, when I try to get a rectangular data plot of the output variable, it gives me an error that implies there isn't any related solution about inductances. Contrary it gives me the plots of winding inductances without any problem. When it comes to calculating the output variable with this existing data it does not exist! I have set the apparent matrix calculation in design settings too. Any help, please?

      Hello kobay000,

            1). Could you verify if you have L inductance results in report?

            2). A workaround solution might use “/1H” for inductance calculation, like L(Winding_A,Winding_A)/1H, to convert it to non-unit quantity. H is unit of Henry.

            Thanks

      Hi Howard;

      I have tried /the 1H division, but unfortunately, it didn’t work. Here is the L inductance report. All inductances ( self and mutual) are exist.

      Hello kobay000,

             Could you show your equation with /1H? Please just leave a simple one in output variable and delete others. Thanks.

      Hi Howard,

      I have added a single test variable named as 'test' for you. Here are the screenshots. Thanks.

      Hello kobay000,

             It seesms to me you can plot "test", just do not have the result.

              Do you have results? Do you have the errors again? Thanks.

      Hi,

      As I mentioned before I have the calculated values of inductances. However, when I plot the output variables which consist of calculated inductances, there is nothing (please check the screenshots in the first post). Also, the error has disappeared in "test" variable. Thanks.

      Hello kobay000,

             Please rerun the simulation to get results, and then I believe you will have output parameter with /1H.  Thanks.
