Oversetting with several blocks

Hello I'm trying to work with overset grids modelling a 2D aircraft fuselage, see attached for the outline of the different blocks. Upon, initializing the overset, I am losing the outline of the fuselage body and was wondering how I can go about ensuring that the overset is properly implemented. I can add more visuals to aid discussion if needed.

So I tried to simplify the domain leaving one background mesh and 2 component zones to determine the aircraft geometry and start from there, upon mesh creation, the boundary cells are being totally removed!
