SubscriberHello.
I'm working in some static structural simulation of designs that i made and I would like to analize the deformation that they have. I'm making a total deformation solution but with that I only achive to know how much the displacement is. Someone knows how can I do it?
Thanks

SubscriberHello I think that I didn't explain well myself. I know how to do that, but the problem is when I show the answers. The result that Ansys is giving me I think that it is more related to the displacement than the deformation. For example, if we simulate a beam fixed in one of the extreme and free in the other, the solution of "total deformation" shows us that the maximum deformation is in the extremity that it is not fixed, but this is not real. In the extreme we have the maximum displacement, but not the maximum deformation...
I don't now if I explain well my self at this time.
Regards,
PM
