I am a bioprocessing student, I am trying to do a bioreactor simulation with a stationary addition (patch) but I need to add a constant flow rate. Can I use the stationary addition for this or not?

I'm not quite sure what you're trying to do, but think you're trying to add material into the domain? If so have a look at the Cell Zone Source terms in the User Guide. If you're trying to add particles you want the Injection part of the Discrete Phase Model.

Until now I am able to inject a uniform concentration of tracer. I selected a zone at the top of my tank and patched it with a value of 1 and set up point monitors to track the tracer over time. I have an issue trying to inject a continues flow of tracer. Can I use Discrete phase model for that?

If you want a continuous stream of tracer from that zone you need to separate the cells you patched (or wherever you want the tracer to come from) and then use a source term (mass and species).
