SubscriberHi,
I am performing contact analysis to find out reaction force but i am getting penetration.
Project Brief: Plunger has to move upwards and bends the blade.
i am attaching pictures of model, contact settings and Analysis settings for reference.
Please guide me to overcome this.

SubscriberYour pinball radius is only .05mm which is small, depending on how you have the geometry setup and mesh this might be an issue.
I'm expecting that at t = 0 the plunger and the blade should be in contact, in that case you should be able to run the contact tool to see the status of the contact, if the number contacting is 0 increase the pinball and rerun the contact tool.

SubscriberSo you are getting initial contact which is good, but penetration is excessive during the solve which leads to the solver failing. In this case i suggest increasing your normal stiffness, this might lead to convergence issues but we can address those as they come up.
