SubscriberCurrently I'm working on a project which optimized a Topside Structure of a offshore platform. The topside is pretty big, which I can't analyze it with student license. So I use submodelling technique to optimized it at partucular part. But, I got a problem when the topology optimization didn't show the result like in the picture. So, is it really can be done with submodelling or not? Or I did something wrong?

Ansys EmployeeYou can certainly do a topology optimization on a particular part or subset of a larger part. In fact, that makes a lot of sense, even if you have lots of computing power at your disposal. With regards to the image you are sharing, try zooming out.
I see something in the lower corner of the screen, just above the table. See my screen capture below. What is this?
