Periodic conditions for modeling conjugate heat transfer

      Dear all,

      I would like to set periodic condition as shown in fig (c) .

      (There is not a mass flow rate moves through boundary condition for this problem.)

      Hello,nQuick clarification - are you saying that there is no Flow flow in your domain, yet your boundaries are periodic? Could you please elaborate your ask so we are able to understand it better?nThanks.nKarthikn

      Look at 14.4.1.2. Constraints for Periodic Heat Transfer Predictions (2020R2 User's Guide) and read the fourth bullet point before trying to run this model. n

      nI'm so sorry for my description.nMaybe, this picture might make you understand more.nI would like to simulate a straight channel (fig c) with setting the top and bottom as periodicity, left and right as adiabatic condition, top channel as cold channel with mass flow inlet and bottom channel as hot channel with mass flow inlet.n

      So symmetry in the x direction will be OK. The periodic problem is then the limitation I flagged above. n
