SubscriberHello THPAL Engineering ,
I am assuming that you are using Discovery AIM, based on your previous queries.
You can use the linearized stress chart to calculate membrane, bending, peak, and total stress along a straight line. There is an inbuilt tool to insert a Linearized stress chart along a straight line.
You can get more information regarding this in the AIM documentation.

SubscriberYes maam,
I'm using discovery aim and now I am summarizing my report. Do you have any tutorial video to simulate the linearized chart?? I already try but still error.

SubscriberHello THPAL Engineering ,
I have attached a video file explaining how to extract a linearized stress chart, please go through it and let me know if it helps you. Along with the video, go through the AIM documentation, linked earlier. You can use this tool, based on your requirements in the problem.
Note: Linearized stress evaluation is only supported on the global reference frame. Note that the line must be straight and entirely contained within the model’s geometry.
Regards.

SubscriberHi Charudatta,
I cannot download the file that you attach. My only concern it is how to used the linearized stress chart. i want to make a chart for the stresses of the beams and gussets of the piperack considering the reacting loads. Most of the video i see are old ANSYS model. Do you have any manual or procedure how to use it?

SubscriberHello THPAL Engineering ,
The file attached is a zip file (since the file size was exceeding forum size limit), you can unarchive it and there is a video I created explaining how to extract linearised stress chart. In the meantime, I will reduce the file size and resend it.

SubscriberHi Ma'am,
Good day.
I would like to ask how to analyze / understand the graph of linearized stress chart such as Membrane, Bending, MembranePlusbending, Peak and total?
Can you give us brief discussion regarding with this stresses?

SubscriberHi Ma'am,
Good day,
We would like to ask how to generate report after simulation?
This is intended for summarizing the data regarding the stresses.

Ansys EmployeeHello THPAL Engineering
Please find attached a pdf on detailed information about Stree Linearization and its various components. Though the pdf is referring to Ansys Mechanical, the concepts are valid for AIM too.
Regarding report generation in AIM, there is no direct way to generate a report of your simulation. You will have to manually capture images of the results which you can embed in a document (ppt, word, etc)
