I am trying to analyze a multi-layer planar inductor in Maxwell 2D and I am having trouble calculating the AC resistance and Inductance of the model as a function of frequency.
The model is as follows:Here, the red rectangles indicate copper trace and the green rectangles indicate dielectric material in the PCB stack-up.
The matrix is defined as follows:
All the copper traces are connected in series.
I have set up a frequency sweep in the analysis set-up as follows:The simulation results are as follows:
For the main matrix:I'm not sure where I am going wrong in this simulation. I'd appreciate any help regarding the same.
