Polyflow – power law viscosity limit

      Hello,

I would like to know how Polyflow calculate a power-law flow without the need of entering the minimum and maximum viscosity limit (like in Ansys
      Fluent).
Will it encounter an infinite viscosity value at zero shear rate without setting the maximum viscosity limit ?

      Hello,

Can you check these sections of the Polyflow User's guide?

      10.2.2. Shear-Rate-Dependent Viscosity Laws (ansys.com)

      11.2.1. Theory and Equations (ansys.com)

If you are not able to access these links, refer to this forum discussion: How to access Ansys Documentation - Generic

Thank you for your answer Nikhil.

I see in Polyflow User’s guide that section 10.2.2 describes several viscosity models

and section 11.2.1 is for viscoelastic materials. (maybe you mean section 10.2.1 ?)

I still have the same question, why in Polyflow we don’t need to enter viscosity limits for power law, but in Fluent we need those limits? (section 37.5.17. Non-Newtonian Power Law Dialog Box of Fluent User’s guide)
