SubscriberHi,
I am currently working on a premixed combustion simulation of a spray burner that has 3 different inlets. the first inlet ejects only O2 gas (turbulent) , the second is a mixture of methane (CH4) with O2 (premixed laminar flame), and the third is N2 gas (laminar).
I am using a 2D axisymmetric Computational domain in Fluent, and for this case I picked the Premixed Combustion Model. The problem is that in the inlet Boundary Condition,I am not free to pick what type of gas is flowing in each inlet. I saw some tutorials, but none fit the case that I am working on.
Should I use another Model for my case? or any idea how I could define my boundary conditions?
I would really appreciate it if anyone could help me . I am still not very familiar with the program, so any additional tutorials would be of great help.

Ansys EmployeeHello,
You should be able to specify for each inlet in the species tab (species tab in for example, pressure inlet window).

Boost Ansys Fluent Simulations with AWS
Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) helps engineers design products in which the flow of fluid components is a significant challenge. These different use cases often require large complex models to solve on a traditional workstation.
