SubscriberI was also trying to get the flow. Knowing that the max pressure drop the water pump we have can handle is 3 bar.

Naresh Patre
Ansys EmployeeHello aeberfal
Modeling a closed loop is currently not possible in Discovery Live.
As a workaround, if you know mass flow rate by pump, you can only model the red portion of the pipe with mass flow rate as inlet boundary condition and 0 pressure at outlet. You can then measure pressure at inlet to see the pressure drop across red part.

Boost Ansys Fluent Simulations with AWS
Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) helps engineers design products in which the flow of fluid components is a significant challenge. These different use cases often require large complex models to solve on a traditional workstation.
