SubscriberI'm trying to include a pressure drop of 3% in the flow domain. How should I input that pressure drop?
Thanks

AdministratorAre you looking for pressure inputs such that the inlet pressure is 3% larger than the outlet? If this is the case and if you are working on a incompressible flow, please use pressure inlet and outlet boundary conditions. The value at pressure inlet should be chosen such that the inlet pressure is larger than the outlet pressure by ~ 3%.
Thanks.

SubscriberThanks! But, if I define both the boundaries with pressure, how can I give velocity or flow rate at the inlet?

Ansys EmployeeYou don't. Either pick a flow rate or pressure drop. The solver will calculate the other.
