      Hello olivier. majo

Check out the below article to have scdoc files open with double click. Though it talks about other file formats, it's applicable for scdoc files too.

      Hello Naresh,

i found this kind of path like the exemple below :

      HKEY_USERSSoftwareClassesApplicationsSpaceClaim.exeshellopencommand

not in the folder : HKEY_USERS but in the HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT

      OrdinateurHKEY_CLASSES_ROOTANSYS 2019 R2 .scdoc FileShellopencommand

so I did the action in this folder, with no result.

do i have to do another action ?

      Best Regards

      Hello olivier. majo

I think the path is fine. YOu need to add a couple more arguments to the key value.

The registry key value should be set to the following:

      "C:Program FilesANSYS Incv195scdmspaceclaim.exe" "%1" "/USERUNNINGSPACECLAIM=true" /UseLicenseMode=true

/UseLicenseMode=true is necessary to make Discovery SpaceClaim look for the subscription license.  Without that set it will look for a floating license, which is why you get the error in the image you submitted.
