Problem running workbench after installation of AnsysStudent2021R1 : VCRUNTIME140_1.dll

      Hello Angiekill1208,nvcruntime14_1.dll is part of the prerequisites installed.nThere may have been an issue with installing those.nWhen installing, did you right-click on setup.exe and choose more->run as administratornYou can also manually install the prerequisites nUnder the prereqs directory of the download you will see the Visual C++ install executables.nOr, you can download and install both the x86 and x64 versions of the Microsoft Visual C++ 2015 - 2019 Redistributable, that should resolve this provided you install both versions . . .nPlease let me know if this helps!nBest,nGeonn

      ArrayPlease try reinstalling the Prerequisites from the Prereq directory of the installation media. Make sure you use Run as administrator to install.n

      Thanks for your help, nI have uninstalled, then re-installed the prerequisites from the prereq directory. After that I ran setup as admin. Something is still wrong. I took snips of the process log after setup completed. Notice the error message (image 3)?nnThanks so much for your continued help n

      I figured out how to view the .err file, so I figured I'd add a snip from that....nn
