SubscriberWhen I try to add the licence info this is what appears. What should I do?

Ansys EmployeeThe LICSERVER.INFO is not a license file. That file should be provided to your ANSYS Account Team or used at the Ansys Licensing Portal to create your license file based on the information it contains.nFebruary 3, 2021 at 7:59 pmtoni1398

Ansys EmployeeCan you share your account number so I can look into this? Your account manager should work with you and assist with using the Ansys Licensing Portal if that is how they would like you to obtain your license.nFebruary 3, 2021 at 8:08 pmtoni1398

Ansys EmployeeThe ASC on the account should have received an email that the entitlements are available and ready to be activated. To activate them, the ASC will need to go to the Licensing Portal (licensing.ansys.com) and activate following this tutorial.nhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7idHWwDVHrc&list=PL0lZXwHtV6OmAST1t6MHMyAM7f1wBXCLr&indexnnThank you,nMattnFebruary 3, 2021 at 8:31 pmFebruary 3, 2021 at 8:37 pmANSYS_MMadore
Ansys Employee1) Please update the version of the ANSYS License Manager, available from https://download.ansys.com/Current+Release.n2) In your C:\Program Files\Ansys Inc\Shared Files\Licensing\ansyslmd.ini file, please reference DESKTOP-P5J4K17 rather than a244a197. You can open the file with a text editor and then save it to your desktop. Modify with the correct hostname, and save it. Then copy/paste it back to C:\Program Files\Ansys Inc\Shared Files\Licensing\ replacing the existing copy.nnThanks,nMattnFebruary 3, 2021 at 8:41 pmFebruary 3, 2021 at 8:44 pmANSYS_MMadore
Ansys EmployeeArray No, C:\Program Files\Ansys Inc\Shared Files\Licensing\ansyslmd.ini. It probably looks like this:n SERVER=1055@a244a197n ANSYSLI_SERVERS=2325@a244a197nmodify to look like this:n SERVER=1055@DESKTOP-P5J4K17n ANSYSLI_SERVERS=2325@DESKTOP-P5J4K17nnThere may be permissions preventing you from saving directly to C:\Program Files\Ansys Inc\Shared Files\Licensing which is why I suggest saving to the desktop and then doing a copy/paste back to C:\Program Files\Ansys Inc\Shared Files\Licensing.nThank you,nMattnFebruary 3, 2021 at 9:11 pmtoni1398
