Problem with license server

  Hello
  Our lab uses ANSYS Academic 19.2. After installation i could see all the analysis system and component system in the workbench. However i cannot seem to start any of the systems and each of them gives me error relating to the license server. For example starting Spaceclaim from start menu gives the following error:

  Array Can you check C:\Users\ad064923\Downloads\academic-new.lic to see if that license is valid or if it has expired? Is CECS1RRCZ12.net.ucf.edu running the ANSYS License Manager, or are you only using the C:\Users\ad064923\Downloads\academic-new.lic license file?.Thanks,nMattn

  Sorry for late reply.nYes that was a old license that was expired. I deleted the file and now workbench is starting properly. But i do not see static structural in the modules. Does this mean the mew license only has fluent capabilities?.

  Yes, that is possible that the license doesn't have Structural capabilities. Can you open your Client ANSLIC_ADMIN Utility and 'View Status/Diagnostic Options' -> 'Display the Customer Number' and send the output?n

  I believe this is being addressed outside the forum with your Account Team. The issue is that you do not have any Mechanical licenses on this server.nnThanksnMattn
