Problem with Mode expantion in script

  Hello , I'm trying to connect the mode expantion to power mode in my python script as its shows in the lumerical example but its not working
  do someone have an idea why?

  Maybe because you did not name the expansion monitor but you selected "mode_expanion". Please try instead of "select", set its name to be "mode_expansion" and see if it works.

  Hey , TNX for the respones but it didnt worked
  It shows that the next command is the problematic like it cant find the monitor even that I named it as I showed in the top of the picture

  Sorry to reply you late as I was out of office last week.
  Did you set the name for the expansion monittor? the error masseage says that "in setexpansion, no expansion monitors are selected". Please set the expansion monitor name, and see if the error message shows again.
  BTW: It is better to use port. and follow the online example.
  You can gradually modify the online example to your design by change one object at a time and check which object causes the issue.
