SubscriberHi Ding-Jun Huang
I downloaded the battery clip example from forum. When I run this file, I didnt see any issue and the model converged easily, with 2019R2 AIM.
Did you modify the setup of this example before running at your end. If yes, what changes you made?
The error you are getting indicates the model is not properly constrained. As the model is working fine at my end, it seems some changes you added might be causing the problem with the model at your end.
Thanks & Regards,
Gaurav

At that time, I used AIM 2019 R1 to do and no convergence was obtained. But, today I have already obtained the convergence results by AIM 2019 R2.
Maybe the error comes from the bug in contact interface definitions, and fixable in R2 because of some additional functions like formulation selection (Pure penalty is selected)...this is not found R1.
Thank you for your comments very much!
Sincerely
Ding-Jun
