SubscriberUse Quadratic elements and use smaller element sizes to reduce the faceting angles that develop between large linear triangular elements on surfaces that have a lot of curvature.

SubscriberI am trying to keep the entire mesh tetrahedral. When I use a smaller element size, the quantity of elements with bad orthogonal quality increase and the orthogonal quality value decrease.

SubscriberWhy are you trying to keep the whole mesh Tetrahedral element shape? Hex elements are superior.
If you delete the mesh then save a .wbpz file using File > Archive and attach that after you post a reply with info on which version of ANSYS you are using, I can take a look and offer suggestions.

SubscriberI am using 2019.
How can I send files through this platform?
Yes, a look from someone else could be really helpful.

SubscriberHere are the detailed instructions for creating a .wbpz file. Once you have that, you post a reply. After the reply has appeared, an Attach button shows up on the right side of the window. Click that then you can upload the file.
There are two versions of 2019: R1 and R2. Which one are you using?

The mesh show 49 elements with orthogonal quality less than 0.13. The recommendation is always use a mesh with orthogonal quality with a value highr than 0.1. In my case I am trying to model the sump of a pump intake with to approximation pipes, in order to calibrate and then make an analysis with a bifurcation in the approach lines.
The elements with bad quality are located in the bell of the suction pipe.

Ansys EmployeeZoom in on the areas where you have poor mesh and use a section plane to view all of the cells in a slice. If cell quality is poor you need to see/show what's going on in that area so it can be altered.
