SubscriberHello Folks,
I am making a study of transonic flow on a wing and following the Simcafe Fluent tutorial. Under the video shown on this link (
) for splitting the wing face, I am trying to make the projection of lines on wing face but projection function is showing an error. On checking the problematic geometry option, it is showing both of the lines as incomplete geometry.
Kindly guide me how can I fix this issue?
Best Regards
Khushin Lakhara

Ansys EmployeeHave you got a surface or body to project onto?

SubscriberI have to project it on the wing-body, for more info kindly take a go through of the shared video problem statement post.

Ansys EmployeeMaybe extend the lines? Without looking at the model (which I'm not allowed to do) you'll need to go back through the tutorial very carefully.

SubscriberHi,
I think I am having the same problem as khush2511. When I try to project in the positive y direction, it doesn't work. When I change it to go in the negative direction, it then works. I think my direction vector is what is cause it not generate. How would I be able to fix that?
