  How do you create a pulse on Maxwell 3D?

  Could you please elaborate the question, on whether to create a new pulse...or use a pulse (already defined) as an input in Ansys Maxwell 3D!!

  I want to create a new pulse and be able to see what happens after the pulse has stopped. In short, I want to create a Heaviside step function in Maxwell 3D.

  You can create one dataset and utilize that as an input pulse.
  
  For more details on how to create one dataset and use it as an excitation pulse, please refer the help document of Maxwell 3D.
