SubscriberI am posting a question because I am having some issues with using HFSS to simulate the effects of current injection into the human body.
I have set up the components for the skin, adipose tissue, and arteries, and initially, the simulation was working smoothly. However, after a while, the simulation started to encounter memory errors and would not continue running.
My computer has 112GB of memory, so I didn't think that was the issue. However, although I tried reducing the mesh and sacrificing the quality of the solution, but I have not been able to overcome this error. I have attached a screenshot of the error message and my computer specifications. It would be really appreciated if there is someone who can help me with this issue.

Ansys EmployeeHi,
Thank you for reaching out to the Ansys Learning Forum.
Please share the screenshot of the HPC and analysis window under HPC options available in the simulation tab to confirm the usage of the system resources.
Best regards,
Praneeth.

Ansys EmployeeHi,
Thanks for sharing the HPC options. I have only one observation about the cores, the rest is fine. Please check the available core quantity in your machine, modify the cores quantity accordingly in the analysis configuration window and try simulating the model once again. During the simulation monitor the RAM usage. If the simulation does not succeed then observe the stage of the analysis during which you receive the error message.
Please share the solution setup screenshot if possible to see if any suggestions can be offered.
Best regards,
Praneeth.-

Ansys EmployeeHi,
Thank you for sharing all the relevant screenshots to understand your solution setup. I have some follow-up observations based on the recent information shared by you.
- Did you verify that you are using your machine's total number of cores?
- Please share the profile information screenshots of the simulation model - this will ensure how much of machine resources are used for the model.
Best regards,
Praneeth.
