SubscriberHi all,
There is a discrete point distribution data which is heat generation rate (unit is W/cm3). The data are in four columns distributions and are in cylindrical coordiation system, that is: r, phi,z and heat generation. I want to import it to model to do steady temperature calculation and to use external data model of ansys workbench to import the data. After importing, the reaction probe shows that the power is only 1773.1W which is not the real power 10kW of the data file.
I want to consult you if it is right to just scale 5.64 times in the Imported Heat Generation form to reach the 10kW power, and then to do the steady temperature calculation.
Thank you very much.

Ansys EmployeeHi,
If scaling gives you the expected results then please use the same.
