Question about running Discovery AIM on a cluster

Since Fluent is the underlying solver behind AFD that's used by Discovery AIM, is there a way to send the solve request to a cluster?

In my model, I am using 16 processes already, and it calls SHM and uses ibmmpi (according to the transcript) as the interconnect anyways.

I know that with Fluent (standard, i.e. not as part of AIM or Discovery AIM), you can run that on a cluster. Is there a way to make AIM/Discovery AIM do the same thing given these facts?

      Thanks.

Discovery AIM license permits up to 16 local processes.

AIM for fluids does have a beta option to permit remote solving (in accessed from solver - options), but this is not released/tested.  I haven't tried it out, but would expect - in addition to the CFD Enterprise license - that it would need AFD (not the same as Fluent) to be installed on a Windows cluster.

Hmmm....interesting that I can't pass it onto a Linux cluster.

      Thank you.
