SubscriberHi, i am trying to recreate the tutorial with internal fluid flow with thermal effects Discovery Live: Internal Fluid Flow with Thermal Effects . When I try to run it from the supplied download I get different results than the video. If I look at the velocity with a initial flow velocity of 2.5 m/s I get a max velocity of 3.1 m/s and the cross section looks different. At this stage the video shows 5.2 m/s. Also when i switch to the temp plot it shows that there is no temp. Am i doing something wrong with this?
Thanks Tom

Ansys EmployeeHi mullins.thomas
The accuracy of result value in Discovery Live depends on the graphics capacity of your system. So it is expected that the end value is slightly different. You can also increase the fidelity and run the model for better results. Although, if you can share your model we can investigate further and check for any discrepancies.

Please remember to turn on the 'Volume' and then box select to add the temperature. It is a common mistake to forget turning on volume.

SubscriberWhat do you mean Turn on the volume? do you mean add to simulation bodies? or do you mean something else?

In the structure tree, turn on the flow volume component.
