Question on CFX Solver’s converged result’s integrity.

  With the set residual target as 0.0001, timescale factor as 1.0, and a maximum of 1000 iterations, the CFX Solver got converged at the 35th iteration. nIf I set the convergence condition as Max. Iteration and get a result until a run of 1000 iterations, will the results between the 35th and 1000th iteration are the same?.

  You can do a sensitivity analysis on that by lowering the convergence level and check if the results are changing or not. That is the so called iteration error and should be assessed as part of the checking numerical errors.nnMoreover ensure that the conservation target is sued as stop criterion too and set the value to 1% (0.01) (default).n
