We have a graduate student asking for the installation of LS-Prepost on their college owned system. Some professors in the college have license for ANSYS but this student is not affiliated with anyone who has a license. Can LS-Prepost be installed and used on a college owned system for academic research?

Yes, LS-PrePost does not require a license and can be used on any computer. You can download the latest release here (4.9 for now) or dev for the beta version:
