Timos
Ansys EmployeeHello, there is no need to calculate the force on the whole tooth. The force is calculated by intergrating surface force on all surfaces of the object surrounded by air. In both cases a small difference is expected because of the intergration points being quite different (mesh).

SubscriberOkay, Timos, thanks! That is to say, the position of the 4 cutting teeth as shown in the figure is all OK, but because of the factors such as division, the calculated force will be somewhat different, right?

Boost Ansys Fluent Simulations with AWS
Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) helps engineers design products in which the flow of fluid components is a significant challenge. These different use cases often require large complex models to solve on a traditional workstation. Click here to join this event to learn how to leverage Ansys Fluids on the cloud, thanks to Ansys Gateway powered by AWS.
