RCS, Incident plane wave

      I have a metallic sheet (200 mm by 200mm), illuminated by an 11 GHz plane wave as shown in the attached figure. when I plot a radiation pattern, it shows two 2 beams.


      Can you explain why it shows two beams? Actually It should show only one beam in the opposite direction of the incident plane wave.

      I have seen the same thing. It seems that HFSS induces currents on the sheet and radiates it (not sure about it though). Would be great to know the real reason why this happens
