SubscriberI would like to read an official statement for the conditions applied to the reactivating a Discovery subscription linked to a permanent Discovery license via a "license extension". Situation: A customer having a Discovery SpaceClaim license (subscription + license extension) will not renew the subscription after initial 12 months but wants reactivate the subscription 2 years later. What are the commercial conditions and fees which are applied then? It would help to read an official policy statement which can be provided to the customer.

Ansys EmployeeHello Ghost1246
I heard back from the Discovery Team and this is what they had to say as of now:
When a customer with a license extension does not renew the corresponding subscription, the customer may continue using the software for up to 25 years, but cannot upgrade to newer versions.
Purchasing a subscription 2 years later provides a second license. The original license extension remains active and usable with older versions of the software. The new subscription can be used simultaneously and with the latest versions.
The licensing team is looking into this further and I will let you know if I hear from them on any other updates.
