SubscriberI am working in a simple problem of flow over model. As the input velocities is provided using parametric option, the reference velocity in setup is automatically not updating itself for new design points. Kindly let me know about the solution.
Flow over model, parametric input velocity, reference value struck with old design point velocity value.

Ansys EmployeeThe reference value isn't the same as the bc, unless you're using coefficients for post-processing it doesn't matter.

SubscriberI have been trying to calculate the lift and drag coefficient of the model.
The velocity in first design point which i am providing it in parametric option is updating in reference velocity tab in the setup while the second or third design point velocity is not updating in it which is retaining the first design point parametric velocity option for all.

Ansys EmployeeThere's probably not an automatic flag to force an update. Have a look in the Calculation Activities menus, specifically the Automatically Initialise & Modify section: you may need to read up on the TUI commands too.

Boost Ansys Fluent Simulations with AWS
Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) helps engineers design products in which the flow of fluid components is a significant challenge. These different use cases often require large complex models to solve on a traditional workstation.
