SubscriberI have done one 'random vibration' analysis & getting first mode at approx 1400Hz..The test frequency is 2000Hz... Until now, I haven't been able to cross the min 2000Hz requirement but my acceleration graph goes down after 350 Hz so my colleague told me to check the response obtained from PSD G acceleration.
I am getting response of 400 (G^2/Hz) at 1400 Hz...so how to confirm whether this response is acceptable or not?

Ansys EmployeeYou mention your test frequency is 2000 Hz. The test must be applying some load at 2000 Hz right? What is that load and its units? Why are you running a random vibration analysis instead of a harmonic analysis if your test is done at only one frequency i.e. 2000 Hz? It is not clear what you mean by "I haven't been able to cross the min 2000Hz requirement but my acceleration graph goes down after 350 Hz".
