Regarding changing source wavefront

  Hi,
  1. Is it possible to change the wavefront of the source to top hat, Laguerre gaussian, Bessel gaussian and to various modes like TE00, TE01 etc in Lumerical
  2. Are beam shaping elements available here

  Yes, you can import whatever the beam shape you want, as long as you have the math expression. Please refer this example https://optics.ansys.com/hc/en-us/articles/360034383054-Using-an-equation-to-define-the-spatial-field-profile-of-a-source-in-FDTD
  FDTD is used to design devices so there is no such beam shaping elements available to use.
