Hello everyone, I am phD student and I am working my experiment test on Ansys. I am modelling concrete block reinforced with armature, so I don`t know how to make armature as REINFORCEMENT. I am sending two pictures where you can see my problem. I am using Ansys 2019.

Hello Stanko,

By any chance, is your armature a collection of discrete bars that can be represented (geometrically) as line bodies, or perhaps it can instead be modeled as surface bodies with a "smeared" representation of the reinforcing material? If so you might consider reviewing this Help article:

I can't tell from the image you provided whether or not you're trying to use either of the two approaches described in this Help article, but I'm inclined to think this is something you'll at least want to consider.

Dear Bill,

thank you for ansvering. My armature a collection of discrete bars that can be represented (geometrically) as line bodies. Should I draw armature as 3D body?
