REMESHING

      Hi,

I would like to know if there exists a method to remesh the geometry during simulation especially due to non linear deformations and element distortion, for static structural analysis. I know there is remesh for FLUENT and maybe rezoning, but I don't find them for static structural. It should be a method that modify the mesh at intervals during the simulation in order to overcome element distortion difficulties. I've only found Nonlinear Adaptivity. Is it the same?

      Thank you

That is it, but I have not found it to be very helpful for my models involving large deformation of materials with plasticity, but I have not used it for a couple of years and it may have been improved since then.
