Does the customer have a subscription that is valid past the release date of the version they're trying to install?
For example, if the subscription ends on 1 January and they are trying to run a version of SpaceClaim released on 2 January that will not work.

The subscription assigned to david.favre@nci-electronique.fr has a maintenance expiration date of 29 June 2019.
The activation ID ends with "dd8".
It's a perpetual license so the software will be accessible, but without renewing the TECS he will not be able to upgrade to any version released after the expiration date.

Hello Brian
here is Mr. Favre's registration form attached. It dates from 07 June 2019, for a period of 1 year. We have placed an order with Bruno Chollat, for the period from 30 June 2019 to 29 June 2020. On these registration forms, there is no date to verify the period covered.

I have removed the file attachments from your post, as those are publicly visible and contain the activation key.
The license which is valid for the newer version is assigned to thomas.najar@nci-electronique.fr and has not been activated on any devices.
The account administrator can unassign it and change it to another user if necessary.

Yes, I would recommend that they unassign the licenses and try again. It looks like 2 Discovery Essentials licenses are assigned to David Favre.

Please be aware that we have been experiencing a technical problem with the account portal at myaccount.ansys.com that has affected releasing activations. I'm not sure if this will also affect the assignment of licenses.
