SubscriberDear Experts
Recently I am facing abnormal exit from fluent. I have gone through other posts related to this issue but none of them worked for me. I am currently using ANSYS 19.2 intel core i5 processor with 8GB RAM and 1TB HDD. Our simulation involves an UDF. It is to be noted that I have worked with this UDF in this device without any error previously.
We have deadline for our thesis, but due to this issue I am unable to perform any kind of simulation for the last three weeks. Please help me solving this problem. I am attaching snap shot from the transcript file and log file (Error-999999) with this post. If any more details is required please let me know.
Thank you.
Sincerely
Noushin

Ansys EmployeeThat looks more like a network problem than anything in Fluent. It's running fine then you've lost connection to something, the 9999999 Error isn't diagnostic in this case.
If you restart what happens?

SubscriberI have restarted the same workbench project, using standalone, using fluent, using components several times but each time the fluent window disappears without any notice. And in the folder where the .cas and .cdat files are stored, I get this error message [Abnormal exit]

Ansys EmployeeThen might be related to network issues. Try locally (copy project to harddisk or local disk) if the problem does occur and check with your IT. -
