SubscriberIn the given example (internal fluid flow in Explore Mode) I am not only interested in obtaining the overall pressure loss along the pipe geometry (d = 15mm, l = 9000mm) but also in more local values, like the pressure difference between a part of the pipe (shown in the picture between the plane and the outlet, so in this example after the flow and boundary layer have fully developed), the pressure values along the centerline of the pipe or the velocity values along the line on a transverse section of the pipe in order to visualize the laminar or turbulent velocity profile, depending on the condition given on the inlet. Is there any way to output values at such specific locations in Ansys Discovery?

Ansys EmployeeHello Klara The functionalities that you are looking for are currently not available in Discovery. These were possible in Discovery Live so I think the development team might implement them in future releases. We thank you for sharing your feedback. We will share your idea/input with the product development team..

Boost Ansys Fluent Simulations with AWS
Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) helps engineers design products in which the flow of fluid components is a significant challenge. These different use cases often require large complex models to solve on a traditional workstation.
