      Hi everyone,

I have been using HFSS 19.2 at a remote machine (SciNET) that uses SLURM as the scheduler. We configured that with the help of tsiriaks here: https://forum.ansys.com/discussion/18341/running-hfss-on-a-slurm-based-machine-rsm-cannot-be-accessed

Unfortunately, a license update from CMC.ca (that provides the licenses) had as a result the 2019 version to stop being supported. The license for the new version is probably configured (I can open the graphical gui on scinet through "ansysedt"), but there seems to be the same problem with the RSM. Please refer to the images below for the script and the error:

You can follow the same process to configure 2020R1 with the custom proxy. The same files can be used.nnThanksnMattn

Also, version 2021R1 has built-in support for SLURM. You can find details in the ANSYS Help Documentation.nhttps://ansyshelp.ansys.com/Views/Secured/Electronics/v211/en/Subsystems/HFSS/HFSS.htm#HPC/IntegrationwithSLURMLinuxScheduler.htm%3FTocPath%3DHFSS%2520Help%7CHigh%2520Performance%2520Computing%7CHigh%2520Performance%2520Computing%2520(HPC)%2520Integration%7C_____8nnThanks,nMattn

Hi Matt,nnThank you for your response. From SciNET they installed the custom proxy using the 2019 files. It seems that the RSM error has been resolved, but I get some license error now:nANSYSLI exited or could not read server port ansyscl.nia0750.399533.53932.n I do not know if I should contact the license provider (CMC) for that. Do you have any suggestion of what may cause the problem?n
