I'm simulating drilling into a sandstone SPG ram.
Drill - MAT_PLASTIC_KINEMATIC, sandstone - MOHR_COULUMB.
The units I use are: GPa, ms, kg, mm.
I use explicit analysis and the following settings:
I indicated the initial temperature in Celsius 22 degrees, is this correct or should it be indicated in Kelvin?
I waited for two entries in the d3plot and saw that the temperature on the SPG particle plate was very high, why?

And how can this be fixed? Maybe you need thermal expansion cards?
