Ansys EmployeeWhich software you are using? Which distance? Can you add more details so that we are able to reply.

SubscriberI am using fluent, I have made a cylindrical geometry with pressure swirl injection in the axial direction at the top surface. so I want to calculate SMD at different locations of the domain.

Ansys EmployeeIs it a steady or transient DPM calculation?

SubscriberIt is a transient simulation, although i want to lean for cases -

Ansys EmployeeThe particle size can be plotted on the DPM tracks. If you create a surface you can also run a DPM Summary: I think you can calculate the Sauter mean diameter from that output file.

SubscriberActually I have made a cylindrical geometry I want to create surface of specified dimensions, but I am unable to make it. Next I want to extract particle summary in that particular domain.
I have already extracted Particle summary through console window but it is providing data for whole domain.
So overall I need value of SMD particular domain.
Your response is solicited. Thanks for helping me. -

Ansys EmployeeThen you need to create planes or fluid regions to report on. Have a look at surface creation and see if that does what you need.

Boost Ansys Fluent Simulations with AWS
Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) helps engineers design products in which the flow of fluid components is a significant challenge. These different use cases often require large complex models to solve on a traditional workstation.
