Saving results as xls file, doesn´t work for matlab

  I am trying to save my results by right clicking with the mouse and than export to excel xls file.
  But Ansys is saving it in an format matlab can't read and even excel is saging theres a problem.
  Does someone know why?
  Is there a way to save it as xlsx file?
  I already changed the ADD in in Excel and made a restart.
  Thank you.
