SubscriberHi, I am aware there is a way to alter the scan pattern the laser undertakes in ANSYS Additive but I was wondering if there is a way to do this on Workbench/Mechanical. I have looked online and in the program itself but can find no way to do thisn -

Ansys EmployeeWB Additive does not support the Scan Pattern Simulation available in Additive Print. nHowever, it is possible to use an Anisotropic Inherent Strain Definition with Uni-directional scan pattern to obtain something similar.nRefer to Section 6.2 of WB Additive Manufacturing Analysis Guide for more detail.nRegards,nJohnnn
