SubscriberHi every one ;
I 'm runnig fluent on cluster so i wrote a basic journal file that read case file , initialize data , run iterations , save and write case and data files every 50 iterations.
I need a command that write 'report files' in working directory
Do you have some suggestions please ? // in the other side we can use quick search in GUI Fluent to fin commands . If i want to use quick serach to find the command that write 'report file' , which key word can i enter ? i have tried 'report' , but it seems not good
Sorr y for english mistakes
With all my best regards

Forum ModeratorThe search function (top right of the window) will give you the menus, but isn't complete as it'll only pick up main menu options. The best approach is to look in the GUI and then explore the TUI on a local machine. Given you already have a case file I'd set up all of the monitors etc via the GUI but make sure the filename is set as ./filename.out (pick a better name) as that should then save to the local folder. Writing full set up journals can be worth the effort, but from experience, it's time consuming and best reserved for when you REALLY need to not do something manually: setting 1500 boundary conditions in 10-12 models and then creating 30-40 images is a good use of TUI journals!
