Dears;

I have generated random fibers in the Spaceclaim form text file. I faced a problem that how can I set random diameters for these fibers automatically. I only could select all fibers and from the prepare tab, I select the circular crosssection with a single radius.

In summary, is there any method to set random diameters automatically for edges in Spaceclaim?

Not sure about random, but when you generate the shapes you can use a script to give a diameter. Nothing stopping you adding a random number at that stage.

Hi Rwoolhou, I try to do that with script but when I choose the cross section radius of the beam nothing appear in script window.

If it's a beam then is may not have a physical size. Beams are used in Mechanical to avoid needing to model the object thickness as they're modelled using an empirical approach for certain shapes/designs.
