SubscriberHello,
running: Ansys Academic Multiphysics Campus Solution (10/100) -
I am looking for documentation for my IT support who runs our license server. I was told by in a phone call with the vendor we get our software from that you can set up groups through the license server.
EG. Reasearch group, (list users) they would then have access to the 10 acadmics seats that we have. It was mentioned we could setup a way that would limit each user to the number of cores they could use at one time.
For the class room, it was stated we did not need a group as any license default user would be running the classroom portion.
Also is there a way to have my IT tech access the protal as well?
Thanks,
R. Jones

Ansys EmployeeCheck the Flexnet Administrators Guide.
Look for: Options file.
This will allow you to implement licensing rescrictions.
But I do not believe you can restrict the number of cores per run unless you are using
the "anshpc" license.-
