shift of results of transient analysis between solid part model and line body model

      hi everyone

      i am analyzing a simple steel frame under transient triangular load i used two models the first is 3D solid part model and the second is line body model the results of static analysis and modal analysis are almost identical but the results of transient analysis seems to develop a shift of results that increase with time i verified the results of the line body model using another software and it provided identical results to workbench

      i want to know the reason of that shift

      can you clarify what type of results (deformation, force, stress?) you plotted in the chart? Is that deformation on at the right corner? I assume series 1 is solid body and series 2 is line body.n

      nyes the results are the directional deformation at the top right corner nseries 1 is solid body nseries 2 is the line body nalso attached modal results if it would helpnn

      Hi Kai ni think a reached a satisfying reason for this shift , it's because the difference of the period of vibration so the shift starts with the free vibration and increase cumulatively.n n
